Search Excellence Process

PLANNING: Weeks 1-4
Search Launch, Initial Recruiting & Calibration
We begin each search with an exhaustive kickoff process to understand the company and collaboratively define the role. Based on the company’s overall goals and objectives, we determine the key requirements for the role and develop a position description that guides the search. We then begin networking with trusted executives and board directors to identify ideal prospects, while concurrently conducting original research and market outreach. Within the first four weeks, we present an initial slate of highly qualified and vetted candidates for review, and assure that we are aligned on the candidate profile.
RECRUITING: Weeks 5-10
Recruiting, Assessment & Evaluation
As the initial slate of candidates is presented, we continue heavy market outreach and assess viable candidates against the key requirements for the role. Potential candidates are interviewed, critically assessed, and thoroughly vetted through discreet referencing. Only the most qualified executives are presented to our client for interviews, and we continue to recruit to be certain that our client sees the best candidates for the role. During client interviews, we evaluate and reference preferred candidates further to assure that we have a complete understanding of each executive’s experience, capabilities, and motivation.
CLOSING: Weeks 11-12
Selection, Negotiation & Closure
Once the right candidate is selected, we work with our client to assure alignment in the offer, using the information that we gather throughout the search to develop a compelling package that suits both parties. We work with our client and the chosen candidate to ensure a smooth transition, and continue to follow up long after the search is completed.
